This sweet brindle boy was found as a stray and has a hurt paw. Little is known about him, but we do know this - he lived through this week's cut at the shelter he most likely will not be that lucky a second time. If you can help save this poor boy please call!

Jager is in dire urgency. He is in temporary foster care in Tennessee. He is part of a group of dogs we call the "Frontier Dogs", they come from many different walks of life and sadly we do not know all of their stories, and hopefully the next chapters of their lives will be written with much tenderness and happiness. We call them the “Frontier Dogs” because they will now be are entering a new frontier. Many were taken from shelters and abusive situations with the best of intentions, only to have them end up back in a similar and in some ways much worse situation. Now for many this will be their third and forth chance at new a beginning, and this time there CAN be no failure, they will be entering a fresh “Frontier”, a new beginning. Please open your hearts to these dogs. They are all gentle souls, with big hearts, that need love, time and patience. If you cannot adopt, please donate or foster. We need help in many forms of contributions, whether it is food, medical, or homes. Anything you can spare is appreciated.
Jager is a very athletic pup that needs lots of play an d exercise (he isn't getting it now folks) . He uses other dogs as punching bags, he has been this way since day one.He is not believed to be dog aggressive as he will submit to an alpha male. If Jager were an athlete he would be the star quarterback. He is so athletic and the SMARTEST worried puppy ever. He is a big cuddler although boarding has made him distant and withdrawn now. He is unhappy. The heart is being taken out of him. He had only been worked with positive reinforcements, never punishment and he responds wonderfully. He knows some commands. He is super playful or was. He plays fetch. He will play with a soccer ball stuff ed with fluff for a long time. He pops air filled ones. He is a young dog, medium size and weight who IS A PUPPY, chews and digs and returned to the shelter after an adoption because of that. They loved him but didn't know how to control it. (CRATE TRAIN FOLKS) I can work with this. HE ACTS tough to other dogs but he is not that way, it is a bluff. He needs to be part of a home and family and be loved. Without this he is just a rack of bones with fur and a heartbeat but nothing else. He is chipped and neutered and ready to go.Won't someone step up for him? I am sad and sick for this dog. I am begging!!! He has been waiting since MARCH. IN a small kennel, waiting waiting waiting and giving up.

This dog is super urgent, her family can nolonger keep her and is threatening to send her to shelter.Spayed Female Catahoula, 14-months, with all shots updated and micro chipped. She’s 27-lbs, and about 19” tall. Coloring is grey, black & white. She is a very loving dog who is somewhat skittish but once she warms up to you that goes away. She's very energetic and loves to play, understands commands to Sit and Lay Down and is learning Wait. She is housebroken and we've taught her to use the doggie door in the short time we've had her so she is able to go out to the back patio to potty. She barks at unfamiliar noises but we’re working on the Quiet command. She walks well on a leash using the Gentle Leader but still pulls without it.

Snoop
MO
Adopt Me
|
Snoop is 9 yrs old, Snoop is a sweetheart of a dog, veeeeery smart, who is trying hard to keep his chin up. Shelter life is hard on him though, and the poor boy longs for a home. Snoop likes other dogs and will wait to go potty outside, he will bark to let you know he has to go, the person who dropped him off was not the owner but told the shelter he was abandoned by his owner. He is great on a leash and a very easy going dog. Please save him before its too late. $65 to pull him and he will be fully vetted. Snoop is heartworm positive but the fee for his treatment is sponsored (100%). "Our euthanasia rate is high as we have to make room for new arrivals on a daily basis, Snoop will be Euth'd Friday 01-29".

Harley is 5 yrs old, 50 lbs, likes other dogs and kids (not been around cats). He likes to play with the other dogs and loves toys. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He can hear but can only see light and some shadows. Harley is very friendly and sweet!
Harley has been living in a kennel alone for the last 4 yrs. It is very cold here now, very hot in summer, he has an igloo, no blanket. He has dug many holes I'm sure from boredom, and the front of his igloo is tipped in to one of the holes and the igloo is full of dirt. He can see some light and dark and shadows. He can hear just fine. Harley would be eternally gratefull for help! His owner will PTS if we can't find him a home.

Cali

Adopt Me
|
Cali has the prettiest blue eyes, she is 3 yrs old, spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, on monthly heartworm prevention, house and crate trained.
Cali gets along with everyone; including, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, babies, and children. Cali has a great personality, very sweet, beautiful blue eyes and is very affectionate, she loves to sleep in the bed with you. She tends to just lie down by your feet and roll over on her back while you pet her. Great on the leash, good for the vet, she is not a barker only barks if there is a good reason to.
Cali can jump a 6ft fence if left outside unattended so she can not be an outside dog.

|
Daisy is a very sweet and loving deaf, Catahoula Leopard puppy,
she is spayed and up to date on shots. Daisy's birthday is April 10, 2009.
She loves to play with other dogs, size doesn't matter.
She has been around Miniature Beagles, American Bulldogs,
Jack Russell's and German Shepherds. Daisy loves to run and play.
She enjoys going for rides in the car and walks on the leash..
She will also jump in the shower and get a nice, warm bath from time to time.
Daisy has not been around very young children, she has been around adults mostly and school-aged children.
Daisy loves to eat and play and sleep on the couch or wherever its comfortable.
She is crate trained and will bark to let you know when she needs to go outside.
Daisy needs her chewy toys and treats, when in the crate the chewy toys pacify her.
She does know some hand signals/commands, like sit, "no", good girl, and "high five".
Eye contact is very important with her as she is deaf.
